Welcome to La Société Pommes de Reinette Daycare!
Our mission is to offer high quality childcare services in French to the children of Franco-Albertan families by supporting the development of the children’s cognitive, emotional, social, physical and language skills in a safe environment.
We are a non-profit organization founded in 1985. Our programs are tailored to best support children in the acquisition of their social, motor and language skills, as well as to stimulate their cognitive and emotional spheres, and their creativity, through play. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment that promotes the development of the autonomy of each child and we work continuously toward that goal.
We offer three programs at four locations: SW, NE and SE of Calgary, and Cochrane. The first program is child care; it is aimed at children aged 12 months to 5 years. The second program is pre-kindergarten; it is aimed at children aged 3 to 5 who do not yet attend school. The third program is out-of-school care; it is aimed at children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Please refer to the Locations tab to see the programs offered at each location.
Open house days
Please find below our open house dates at all our facilities. Regardless if you are future parents, new parents, and/or interested in our programs, come visit our child development and discovery centres.
Every Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 am (with the exception of the SW location, which will be reopening its doors in the coming weeks).
We are currently accepting registrations for the following programs:
Preschool programs for 3 and 4 year old children, at our NE and SE locations, starting September 1st 2023.
Out-of-school care programs for Cochrane locations starting September 1st 2023.
